School Psychologist

Welcome to the world of School Psychology!

I was born and raised in Fayetteville, where I attended Washington Elementary & Woodland Junior High. I attended & graduated from Kingswood School Cranbrook in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, for my high school years. I got my Bachelor of Arts degree in French at the University of Arkansas in 1980. Following a move to California, I attended graduate school and graduated at San Francisco State University with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology in 1986 and returned there to complete the coursework for the School Psychology credential in 1989. I interned for one year at the Marin County Office of Education and worked as a School Psychologist for 4 years with the Oakland Unified School District before "returning home" in 1994 to work for Fayetteville. Since that time, I have evaluated students with a number of disabilities and have especially concentrated on those with autism spectrum disorders, given my Root assignment for many years.
