Mrs. Hapgood believes that music education is not just about learning notes andrhythms but about growing into responsible and caring individuals.
At Root Elementary, Mrs. Hapgood loves the unique and supportive environment that fosters her students’ growth. Her curriculum features engaging resources like The Game Plan, MusicPlay, Quaver, and Purposeful Pathways, while her classroom is filled with a diverse range of instruments, including ukuleles (for 3rd and 4th grades), xylophones, metallophones, African drums, and various unpitched percussion instruments.
For Mrs. Hapgood, teaching music is the best job in the world, and her dedication to her students and their musical journey shines through in everything she does.
